This Wilson may be one of the children of Washington & Jane (Flaugh) Wilson, residents of Jasper County Iowa in 1860 census on pg 793 in Lynn Grove Township. This man was said to have died young and to be one of the brothers of Tempa (Wilson) Pendroy, wife of Edgar Grant Pendroy.
To complicate the issue, unfortunately no one wrote the name on the picture to identify who this Wilson is, and at least one person stated they always thought it was Tempa's father (Washington Wilson).
The picture hung in Grandmother Pendroy's house on the day of her death and the picture itself is printed on cardboard.
Since Mrs. Jane (Flaugh) Wilson (Mrs. Washington Wilson) was born in 1843 and this unknown Wilson is at least 25 years old, the earliest reasonable year of death would likely be around 1885. Other known family are listed below.
It is possible an early census record(s) of the Washington Wilson household which lists a child not in the picture below, may identify or provide clue leading to the identification of, this unknown Wilson.

Picture of Mrs. Washington Wilson (Jane Flaugh Wilson), shown in this undated photograph, with her children, listed in the picture. Tempa Wilson, shown in this picture, married Edgar Grant Pendroy. Bert Wilson, shown in this picture, married William and Rhoda Ann (Pendroy) Bigley's daughter Emma Bigley.
Jane (Flaugh) Wilson (Mrs. Washington Wilson) is buried at Palo Alto Cemetery, Jasper County, Iowa. I have not identified where Washington Wilson may be buried.
