I do make changes or corrections if more accurate or further information is made available to me. Therefore, this entire site is in effect, the author's current known information of what the "Pendroy Surname History" is today. 

Information on the many collateral lines (especially), is often provided by other researchers.   This website is quite comprehensive, and a large amount of information on this site has come from other researchers. If I am not aware of  conflicting information, I generally use research  from others as provided to me, and  for collateral lines, especially. In most cases, I  do not realistically have time to thoroughly double-check the vast quantity of research provided by other persons.

My intention is also to document some of the interesting historical details associated with the time period and locality where the Pendroy surname individuals and families lived in the 1800s and 1700s in America. Almost all of the Pendroy surname information available on this website is from the time period before 1900. 

If you are a genealogy researcher or are researching a Pendroy, I hope some of the information here is helpful, at least as a starting point.  Since the site is intended primarily for historical focus (and for the protection of privacy) - it contains either no information - or minimal  information such as "married name" or other identifying information -  of living or recently deceased people.
