Marriage License issued to Jemima Jane Pendroy and Horatio Pace on December 1, 1841 by SW Harlan Clerk of Delaware County Indiana Circuit Court.

Translation (Could not ascertain some of the handwriting which is written by two different persons):

Horatio Pace to Jemima J. Pendroy.

Be it remembered that on this day a marriage License is issued in these words towit: State of Indiana Delaware County. To any person duly empowered to solemnise marriage in the county aforesaid. You are hereby authorized to join together in the bonds of matrimony as husband and wife Horatio Pace and Jemima J. Pendroy and in doing so shall be your sufficient voucher. Witness my hand and the seal of the Delaware Circuit Court this 1st day of December AD 1841. Samuel Harlan Clk. ???. And afterwords ????? on ??? 6 day of January 1842 the following certificate was returned , I do testify to the clerk of the Delaware County ???? I joined Horatio Pace and Jemima Jane Pendroy in the bonds of matrimony as husband and wife  on the  2nd day of December 1841. Warner Mann JP (seal) ????? record. SW Harlan CLK.
